Hola otra vez!!

Even though I can not go to the beach anymore since 2 weeks, I still enjoy my time here in Valencia to the fullest. 3 weeks ago, we hired a car with 10 people. We were already planning a lot of trips for 2 months, so we decided to make a day trip to Javea and Denia, 2 little city's 200km from Valencia. We were very lucky, because this was one of the last ' summer days' here in the southeast of Spain. When everybody was awake (also the lucky bastard who had actually overslept for 1.5 hour. no names liri.), we could finally start our trip to Javea. At first, we went to the harbor of this little city. It was really cute and it gave us a holiday-like feeling. Probably because of all the Germans and Dutchies, who were celebrating there autumn break there. It was a hot 3th of November, so we decided to lay down on the beach for a while to enjoy the sun, the clear water and the white sand =D. We wanted to continue our trip to Denia in the afternoon, but first we went to another bay. Along the way we stopped a few times to enjoy the amazing views, which we had on the mountain. Unfortunately, the sun was almost gone when we arrived at the bay. This could not stop us from jumping off the big rock, after we finally defied the big climb. We were planning to dive, but when I was on top of the big rock, I could only think about being in the water. ALIVE. So I just jumped. Now we could continue our trip to Denia. Of course not! We always change our plans!! We made a little stop in Calpe, which is also a pretty cool little city in the middle of nowhere. There was this big mountain rock thing. It looked really pretty. We wanted to climb the mountain but unfortunately, it was already to late since it would take us about 3 hours to get there. We were all hungry so we decided to go to the nearest restaurant to have diner. After our bellies were satisfied we could finally go to Denia. Tom had already been there before and wanted to show us something really cool. After an hour of walking, he made the confession that he was not sure anymore where we could find this awesome view..
Sooo we had our last drink and drove back to Valencia after a great and cozy day. I think we can all look back on a really special day!!

The Thursday after, Amel, Sterre and Sandra were visiting Valencia. We were all really excited, since we had such a great time in Barcelona last month. They arrived at my apartment in the evening, so we decided to have some drinks at my place. It was really nice to meet in another city this time. We already planned that we wanted to hire some bikes, so they could see everything in a few days. The next morning we went to the city centre to find a cheap bike rental. We wanted to have a tranquillo day, so we walked trough the little cozy streets first. After that we had some Clarita’s at the terrace. Now we could finally go to a bike rental shop. BUT, people need to eat after drinking alcohol, soooo, we found this little bar. 1 tapa with 1 Clarita. YEEEY more beers. In the end, we had our bikes at 7-8 o’clock or something. Normally, I go back home by buss, so I thought I could just take the same way by bike. This wasn’t totally true. After bicycling between the busses and annoyed drivers, we found our way back home. Unfortunately, Amel had a flat tire up to 2 times:). In the evening I took them with me to the group of people I usually hang out with. We had some drinks and were planning to go to La Tres. This didn’t really work out so we went to Mya again. It was a great night and we had a lot of fun together. The day after we had to fix the tire of Amel so we went to the closest bike shop. After that, we had breakfast and went to the beach with our bikes. Our Saturday night was pretty lazy with really really nice bikini’s (toasty’s in Spanish). Thanks again for teaching me how to make them Sandra;).We went to ciudad de las artes y las ciencias on Sunday morning and we had a café con leche on the terrace there. We continued with a little bike tour trough the Turia. This used to be the dried river, but they created a park from it and it goes across Valencia. After 15 minutes they saw enough of it and we cycled to the beach again. Here they wanted to try the Paella valenciana. We had a tranquillo day again. In the evening they had to catch their train back to Barcelona. We had a really nice weekend and we will meet again in Holland =D

I don’t know what to say more about the last 2 weeks. They were pretty the same as always. Nothing special happened. In 2 weeks I will be in Holland again for a few days =D so at this point, I’m really looking forward to that.

Muchos besos de Valencia y hasta pronto!
